| Match Report | U/8 Emus – A challenge to step up from the mini fields to the modified field was met by our strong enthusiastic team. Great mid-field running by Brendan, Phillip and Chris set up our forwards Kate, Jacob and Tim to constantly attack our opponents goal. At half-time the score line read 2-0 with super strikes by Brendan and Alex, but we knew that our opposition were red hot and a hard team to beat last year. Liam and Cameron defended our lead well and goal keepers Alex and Isaac made a few brilliant saves from good strikes at our goal. A late goal by Chris made the final score 3-1. |
