Match Report: An incredibly close and hard-fought game this week against Pitt Town, with the boys unfortunately going down 0–1 in what was easily their best performance of the season so far.

The team played phenomenal soccer from start to finish, showing how much their training, teamwork and determination are continuing to grow each week. The boys stayed composed under pressure, moved the ball well and never gave up, creating plenty of opportunities throughout the match.

Cody’s speed and defensive pressure were a highlight to watch, while Euan and Alex worked tirelessly through the midfield and defensive areas to help control the game.

Daniel and Harry both made some fantastic saves in goals, keeping the boys in the contest with confident and courageous efforts between the posts.

Up front, Zai and Tal made several exciting runs with plenty of close chances that kept Pitt Town under pressure all game.

Brock also came agonisingly close with an incredible “bend it like Beckham” strike aimed for the top corner, only to be denied by a brilliant save from the goalkeeper.

Despite the result, the effort, resilience and teamwork from the boys were outstanding and something they should all be proud of.
