Match Report

As the sun slowly cracked the early morning frost on the Knapsack Savannah, three monkeys and three zebras gazed at each other across the plains. The cry of the horn-bird signalled the start of a great match. The low numbers on each side saw a frenzy of commotion over the ball with Kaelan hoofing 6 in and Isobel 2.

When next the horn-bird screeched, we turned the second half into a boys vs. girls match. In a well-co-ordinated attack the boys belted three in, with Kaelan hitting one and Jools two. Not to be out-done, Sasha and Isobel whacked two in, with an attack of fury and precision.

It’s always fun when the Monkeys and Zebras congregate on the savannah. Only a few games to go now … we hear that a pack of wolves have been sniffing the air of the Savannah. The Zebras stand ready to defend their pastureland!
