Decimated by injury, illness and holidays, we travelled up the mountain with five fit players and an injured bravely going in goal. Con scored a great striker’s goal running onto a through ball and putting it away across the oncoming keeper. Aiden showed great determination in midfield to stop the opposition’s flow. James ran his heart out all game as he does every week and nearly scored when intercepting a goal kick. Arwen and Kane played alongside each other in defence and were magnificent – tackle after tackle and putting their bodies in the way. Kane was POM for his defensive work as well as his ability to dribble out of defence and turn it quickly into attack.
