Match Report

The Lions played an outstanding game against the Wolves. In the first half, Daniel and Jordan were a formidable pair in forwards, working together to score the only goal of the match. Lexy and Seb continued with some great attacking play in the second half, with many close attempts at goals. Eli and Sebastian were fantastic goalies, not letting anything past them. Thomas is proving to be a great defensive player, with his good strong kick sending the ball up to the mid fielders and forwards. Max did a terrific job in the midfield, running the ball up the wing to the forwards. Angelina showed strong defensive skills, fearlessly tackling the other players. Lily’s increasing fitness enabled her to run up and down the field and position herself to keep the ball up our end.

All the Lions held their positions, passing to each other and positioning themselves thoughtfully. A real team effort. Well done everyone!
