Match Report

With Tom Wrightson rumoured to be trialing at Real Madrid, and Gus Callinan selected to play for the 10/3’s, it was going to be interesting to see the real depth of our squad.

Perfect football conditions, cold, and with a sprinkling of rain, the boys got straight into taking control of the game.

Jack Higgins slotted into the defense but constantly brought the ball forward with amazing skill and control.  Heath Stanners was also heavily involved and unlucky not to score.

Ben Haywood has one of the most powerful shots in the Comp and found the net four times, an amzing achievement at any age. He also put over many fine crosses and Ethan Ridley was desperately unlucky not to put a couple away. One was a powerful header that only just went over the crossbar.

Zac Kingsford worked tireslessly, looked skillful and talented with the ball at his feet and won the Award POTW.
