Match Report

A beautiful Autumn day at Knapsack and a wonderful entertaining game of football. The Hazelbrook team were well organised and played some good football. Our kids found themselves in a real battle in the first half, Fin nicking a goal from a tight angle just before half time. A couple of quick goals from Riley and Con early in the second half and another from Riley right on full time.

Aiden and James shared the goalkeeping duties this week and both had plenty to do. Arwen made some telling challenges and put Riley away on goal with a great pass in the first half. Maeve, Kiran and Kane run their hearts out all game ensuring the Bears had little time to settle on the ball.

POM this week was Ashton. A terrific all round performance – last line of defence on a few occasions, dribbling through and passed the Bears using his blistering pace. Almost scored in the first half and set Con up with a defence splitting pass in the second.
