Match Report U8.Eels – 4 June, 2005

A brave performance where the entire team defended excellently. Constant Springwood pressure but we still battled for everything and kept the scoreline low. Lachlan Mahoney was superb while James Jackson got involved in the midfield action.

Player of the Week was a shared award between Emily Dwyer and Jesse Grazotis. Emily had a sore leg but ignored the pain to help out an overworked defence. Jesse played goalkeeper second half and bravely threw his body at every oncoming ball. The Coach noted it was the best he had ever seen an eight year play!
