Match Report

The Hawks were down to 3 players, with Flynn off on holidays in Fiji and Jarred and Coach Nick in the UK (lucky kids and Coach). Our substitute Coach Aaron, did a great job filling in again to coach Addison, Tyler and Michael.

Our opposition, the Jaguars were unfortunate to have only 2 players and so we played 2 aside.

All the kids had a great game and at 2 stages during the game, Michael was gracious enough to play for the Jaguars team when one of their players was hurt. He was so gracious he even scored a goal for them! Once again Michael’s growing confidence really started to shine through during this game with some awesome goals scored as a result. Well done Michael.

Addison took to the field even through she was a bit under the weather and played some great defence and used her ball skills to get the ball up to our goals. Great work Addison.

Tyler once again showed great ball skills and was excellent in defence and attack. As always, showed his determination to gain control of the ball to shoot for goals. Another great game Tyler.

Overall the Hawks had another fun game with all players scoring goals – Michael scoring 3 for the Hawks and 1 for the Jaguars, Tyler – 3 and Addison – 1.

It has been fantastic to see this team grow during the season with their ball skills, confidence in defence and attack and overall playing as a team.
