A spirited and lively performance against strong opposition. In the first half we seemed to constantly defend, Tim Kniha, Brandon Dejonge and Kali Ferris-Smith bravely challenging for every ball. On counter attacks both Isaac Morris and Tristan Watson looked sharp, showing excellant skill and speed. Chris Edwards was unlucky when he let fly with a powerful shot only to see it brilliantly saved by the goalkeeper. Paul Mukhin was busy in the midfield showing lots of tackling and passing skills and won this weeks POTM. An enjoyable first game to the season although the Grading even at this early stage needs to be questioned. |
