Match Report

The Blueys ladies started slow but eventually got into their characteristic passing game. At half time Blueys led 1 nil by a cracking goal from Sarah, who turned on the edge of the box and struck with a curling drive, leaving the keeper with no chance as it hit the side-netting.

The 2nd half was all Blueys, Leanne constantly cleaned up everything from sweeper, while Kate Tidy was amongst everything up-front. Blueys dominance and their quick pass-and-move game finally earned them their 2-nil win with a flowing movement down the right through Morgan, then Sarah and Michelle, before laying off to player of the match Yvonne, who cooly slotted into the bottom right corner.
