Match Report	Entering the game with only 12 players, the Blueys were reduced to 11 early in the 2nd half, when star Romy Thompson became injured. With the scores locked at 0-0, Bligh Park started dominating, but Leanne Aitken, Alicia Odell, Megan McClellan and Natasha Manzi were rock solid at the heart of the Blueys defence. The breakthrough goal came with 10 min to go, a determined effort by Michelle Desailly, who was a constant threat up front. The 2nd came 5 min later, a superb through ball from player of the match Sarah Emmanuel put Kate Tidy clean through on goal, and she cooly put it away leaving the keeper with no chance. A hard fought and well-deserved victory for the Blueys ladies.
