2010 Ladies Day

3rd Annual Ladies Day – Sunday, 25 July 2010

The BMFC ladies sub-committee are organizing the 3rd Annual Ladies Day, which, this year will support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Australia.  The JDRF is dedicated to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications. Type 1 diabetes (or diabetes mellitus) is a life-long disease that usually occurs in childhood, but can be diagnosed at any age; it currently affects over 140,000 people in Australia alone.

Tickets are now available.  Click here for more details.

This event is a great opportunity for the ladies who have supported their partners and children throughout the season, as well as our female players, to kick up their heels. The event will be professionally catered, with the ticket price including nibblies, buffet lunch, champagne, wine and soft drink.

Many prizes have already been donated by local businesses and money raised from raffling these prizes will be donated to JDRF.  Donations to the JDRF are also welcome.  Last year, over $2000 was raised … let’s beat that amount this year!

So why not organize a table of girlfriends, come dressed up in a theme from your favourite decade and participate in our fundraising event for a truly worthwhile cause.
