Match Report

A tough hit out for the lads today. Battling the wind, no subs and a determined Richmond team saw the lads play out a draw.

The lads really played very well in the first half & used the conditions to their advantage with a trademark long throw from Captain Brody saw Dowdy pounce and put away a goal to go into the break at 1-0.

In the early stages of the 2nd half, the lads once again built up a quality passage of play to see Kali find the net once again to take us 2-0 up. However, running into the wind and with no subs, the boys struggled chasing the long ball employed by Richmond with the wind in their backs. 2 scrappy goals let Richmond back into the game and level the score at 2-2.

An overall good performance who continue to show great heart week after week. Well done.
