Match Report

The First Half and we were by far the more skilful Team against Glenmore Park. Heath Stanners and Aiden Monaco both tormented the opposition Defenders, constantly delivering wonderful balls into the Penalty area, but we couldn’t convert the chances into Goals.

It was very typical of our games, play with silky skills like Brasil, then have the lack of finishing ability like England.

In the Second Half, the opposition scored a lucky goal, and the Blue Mtns boys seemed a bit shocked that so much hard work had left them trailing.

Oliver Magri worked tirelessly, and Zac Lee was unlucky with a disallowed Goal.

Gus Langworthy tried to add extra spark into the midfield but it was a difficult job in the windy conditions, and Glenmore Park scored another two with counter attacks.

The mood was good after the Final Whistle; we’d tried our best, and it was still a good way to spend a Saturday arvo.

POTW … JOSH BLEWITT who’s tackling gets better every week, shared with fill-in GK WILL COOKE, an outstanding athlete.
