Match Report

The grey skies opened up soon after Kick Off, but couldn’t dampen an awesome display of football.

We passed the ball around full of confidence, and Penrith FC were totally outclassed! Seven Goals in total, Billy Moar, Gus Langworthy, Luke Doughty, Zac Lee, Heath Stanners (Pen) and two to Aiden Monaco all finding the net.

Heath took our first ever Penalty, and calmly pushed it into the top corner of the net.

Zac Lee showed he can play Forward with ease, and came close several times to adding more goals.

Luke Doughty played the perfect Fullback role, constantly using his pace to turn Defence into Attack.

William Cooke won POTW, organising a very strong defence, and bravely heading everything in the air despite the ball getting extremely heavy as the game went on.

For a Team that has a problem scoring Goals, this 7-0 Win was very welcome!
