Saturday Afternoon’s don’t get much more exciting than this Roller Coaster Ride!

Opposition Colo, were big, strong, very physical, and raced away to a 6-1 lead by Half Time. The BM Coach had added to the onfield confusion when he selected players to enjoy different positions after winning Round 1 comfortably 8-2.

Half Time and we talked about ‘actions’ and not just ‘words’, and what followed was simply amazing.

Ben Greening moved to GK and kept a clean sheet. William Cooke steadied the Defence, and with Gus Callinan and Gus Langworthy in front of him, we suddenly became a stable unit. Hunter Turl continues to enjoy a great Season, improving every game.

The Forwards suddenly gained confidence, and we managed to score another three goals, as we tried desperately to reach their tally.

The Full Time whistle finally beat us, but eleven boys had showed great competitive spirit, and a never give up attitude!

POTW was Gus Callinan, a great performance before he Captain’s his School in the upcoming Winmalee Plate.
