Match Report

Another glorious Saturday morning, this week at Knapsack, playing against our good friends.

Aiden went in goal in the first half and did well, keeping a clean sheet. In the second half he combined well with Riley in particular up front.

This week the coach decided it was time we deployed a back three rather than customary two as we had leaked a few goals when the opposition broke away quickly and we were left short. It worked well with Kieran, Arwen and Kane working well together for long periods as the three at the back.

Ash broke the deadlock with a break away goal of our own, dribbling the length of the pitch and again impressed with his decision making, this time going it alone to score. Work horse Finn added a second before half time.

James played very well today linking up midfield and attack through good dribbling and passing. Thomas has continued to improve week on week, getting more involved again today. Xavier also had a good game in both defence and midfield.

Maeve had a little less work to do today, playing in defence for a period in the second half but when involved was very effective as ever.

Geordie played his best football so far this year in the first half, really getting involved and starting to link up with his team mates around him. In the second half he went in goal and kept a clean sheet…deserved PoW award, well done Geordie.
