Match Report Premier Reserve – 27-05-2007

vs Blaxland
Opposition Score 4
Match Report Not a very good outing for the Prem Reserves this weekend beaten 4-0 by a more committed Blaxland team. A very poor start to the game didn’t help, Blaxland scoring 3 goals in the first 25 minutes due to a lack of communication and bad defending. Once composure was established we tried to get back into the game and after 40 minutes we finally tested their goalkeeper. The second half was a slightly different game, where we finally showed some commitment to the cause and pushed for some quick goals, unfortunately without success, and Blaxland scored a long range goal that put the game out of reach for Blue Mountains. No one really stood out for Man of the Match award on this particular day. Hopefully next week we can rediscover the form of previous weeks which took us to outright third on the table, and put this weekend’s game out of our minds and forget about it. Mat Witjes
