Match Report: It was a dark and stormy morning that we took to the slippery Knapsack field. With too many of the players on the sideline, we called on the O35 4’s who had just played a full game. We gave Grant and Craig, all of about 15 minutes before calling on their grit. Both made a real impact and Craig got to even put one in the back of the net 🙂

The Fox also had a fantastic effort up front and nabbed two more goals for his tally. Both GB and The Fox created good opportunities, linking with the midfielders.

The Pirate and Dirty were running the sideline and we were looking our best when using these guys.

The Skud was strong in the back and was martialing well. Obviously when you’re martialing some of the finest defenders in the business, the job is somewhat easier. There was ‘The Albino’ Turtle (because he was looking a little pale); the Tomb (missed my chance to get off the Nudy run) Raider; The ‘please let me take the throw ins’ Boss; and GB (you’re likely to come off second best in a 50/50)

BK (who bounced between defense and midfield), Rod (am I Cranky?) Crank and G, worked hard to choke a fairly well oiled central midfield opposition. A good effort that will only be better next week!

Possibly, no more a vital role was played, then the man between the sticks today. Slash had a pearla. Two tap-overs that could’ve spoiled a well earned win. He also came close to turning inside out, to save an on the spot penalty!

One game at a time gents!!! Mend well Shotgun, Rocket, Frankie and, of course, Dekka!!!!
