Match Report: What can I say on this dark and stormy day? The boys turned up – well that’s not entirely true … is it Rusty 😉 and yours truly can’t boast being on time either 🙁

From all accounts the first half was a whirlwind of running with a glimmer of hope coming in the way of two shots from the galloping GB. One hit the post and the other was a near miss. The opposition had more luck putting two away for the half.

Despite probably doing most of the running in the first half, our team had taken a lot of the legs from the opposition. So we turned up the enthusiasm and began to make many inroads into the goal box. It wasn’t too long before Voldemordt rewarded the team for their hard work and determination to keep pushing.

The order of goals from here escapes me, but what doesn’t, is the teams belief … even a glimmer was enough to continue the push forward. We finished the day with three goals a piece. Another kick arse result in this unusual finals series.
