Match Report: 1st Grade

The team has been competitive in all but one league game this season but have only picked up a point to date. The boys have not dropped their heads and are keen every week to learn and progress. The State Cup win last week provided a real confidence boost that what we are doing is heading in the right direction and we were keen to try and build on that

Fast out of the blocks with Ethan getting a chance early that was missed. Undeterred Ethan got two in a matter of minutes and completed his hat-trick by the 24th. Two more were added late in the half – a belter from Jake and a fourth for Ethan

Focus at half time purely on the clean sheet and keeping it that way to the end

A solid second half saw two more goals to Mitch brought on up front for Ethan and Liam with a great long range strike

A good night’s work but it was just one game – the boys and myself as coach are learning each week what we need to do better
