Match Report: A clear sunny day greeted the team’s first official game of the season after the Round 1 washout. With a new team and new faces getting to learn each other’s play style, the lads took a bit of time to warm up. But after a pep talk and some rearrangement of player positions, we played a great defensive game in the 2nd half, only letting a single goal through. Standing like an unbreachable castle wall in defense was PotM Aidan Beavis, who showed hunger for the ball, applying relentless pressure on the oppositions attack, stopping numerous attempts at goal before they had a chance to shoot. Nice work lads, see you at training!
