Match Report: A night make up game on a lush Jamison Park – it was very warm and still light when we arrived making it feel like we were playing Summer Football

We started brightly and took the lead after just 7 minutes. Jacob danced around a couple of defenders in the box and from the bye line of passed the ball across the six yard box for Harry Smith to tap in

Penrith started to come back into the game in the last 15 minutes of the half and won a free kick on the edge of the box 3 minutes before the break. Well struck and into the net

In the second half we weathered an early few minutes of attack and then started to take control again. Numerous chances came and went but with 15 to go we got the go ahead goal as Ash was put through 1on1 and slotted neatly past the Penrith keeper, who had made a number of saves to keep the scores level up until this point. A few minutes later we won a free kick on the edge of the box and Liam returned the compliment banging home a beauty

Some super performances – Ash getting coaches player – denied a few times and was getting gassed but found one last effort to give us the lead. Jacob was excellent too and took the players player and Sam solid as ever in the backline getting the Parents players vote

A good competitive game of football and a positive result but the highlight of the evening for everyone was seeing and catching up with Ethan at the game and putting a smile on his face with a win
