On Sunday AA11 played Glenmore Park at Glenmore Park. In the first half Glenmore Park scored two goals, whilst our boys fought hard to defend the goal posts. At half time the Coach gave a very curt talking to and the team went back on and kicked two goals – thereby making the score 2 all draw. It was an extremely well played game against a team who are always "a little harder and much more aggressive" than our team. All spectators were extremely pleased with the way the team played and there ability to lift themselves and gain the 2 goals. Just as a note, one of our players, Adrian Barr was leaving for Europe on Sunday at 6.00pm, played the game (which commenced at 1.00 and left as soon as it was over in order to catch his flight. He will be arriving back on a Sunday in July and will come straight from the Airport to the game. "What dedication". We are all pleased that we appear to be improving each week.
