Match Report: A tight game expected at the old lady today, but as it turned out the blues put on a display reminiscent of the glory days………of a previous under 9s team.

First half was a tight affair, with springwood taking the lead and looking good for it. But the blues battled back through Harry C and then Matt taking a two one lead into the second half. Both teams at that point still looked like they could go on to win it. But wait…….

Second half was a display of passing mastery, deft flicks and tasty touches, finished off with some scintillating goals. Particularly the second for Harry C, a delicious flick from an airborne Matt followed by a first time lob over the keeper. At the other end Ben, Connor G and S were outstanding with their defence and Harry M kept goal with some verrrrrrrrrry long goal kicks putting the pressure on the Utd defence.

Jack took out MOM with an all round hard working performance. Well done blues for a great display and some quite excellent football. Final score blues 6 utd 1.
