Match Report: Big derby day at the knapsack stadium saw a sell out bbq, and a close game that could have gone either way, and did with a 2-2 draw. A fair result in the end!

Game started with the blues grabbing an early lead through Matt. Suddenly blues had chance after chance but Blaxland drew level with a well taken goal.

Second half Blaxland deservedly took the lead and it looked ominous for the blues. They withstood wave after wave of Blaxland attacks but up stepped Ben with his hard tackling, grabbing the ball and burying it to make it all square. Towards the end Harry M Beckham smashed a 20 yard pile driver against the post, and sent in three corners that somehow conspired to stay out of the net.

Two draws in a row against two of the top teams in the under 9 comp! Well done blues, and well done Connor S for hard tackling and doing his job on the pitch! Super stuff!
