Match Report: It was home to wenty falls, with the opportunity to finally beat the team that we have lost to and drawn this season. On arriving at the old lady, we found the mod we were on had been the scene of a previous defeat to the wenty boys, was it an omen???

Game started with both teams prodding and sounding each other out. A few chances each way before wenty took the lead, one nil. The Blues battled back and looked to be going in just one down but right in the stroke of half time wenty made it two and the heads were low. Half time pep talk required.

The boys went back on and gave it a go but wenty made it 3. Yet we pulled one back with 10 to go and the energy levels went straight up and the lads gave a good account of themselves. In the end it finished 3-1, only the second loss of the season and this is the only team who have beaten us this year.

MOM was Daniel for his running and attitude, never give up. Here’s to next week and the local derby v blaxland!
