Match Report

Ash went in goal in the first half and kept a clean sheet. Arwen had a run up front and, on the break, was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions. Riley poked home the only goal of the half.

Kieran went in goal in the second half and did a great job. Kane was solid at the back, as usual, and was moved further up the field later in the half. Ash hit both posts but finally got his goal. Con slid in well to beat the keeper to the ball. The best goal of the game was a simple move, well executed. Con’s throw to Ash, who laid it off to Riley who fired home.

James and Fin did a lot of unselfish work in the midfield all game that resulted in a number of late goals for Riley.

The one person I have not yet mentioned was superb today. Maeve did not stop running, tackling and looking for good passes all game – an great all round display, well done.
