Match Report

James was GK for the first half and distributed the ball well from goal kicks a number of times, out wide to Maeve, who controlled the pass well and moved the ball upfield to Riley on the wing. Ash was a constant threat on the left hand side of midfield, taking on players and crossing or shooting. Arwen’s confidence continues to grow every week. Two stand out moments for me this week – the first: good control in front of her own goal and a lovely pass to a team mates feet and the second: a shot that the keeper saved but Riley was able to follow up and score. Riley completed his hat-trick in the first half with two more well taken goals.

Kane went in goal in the second half and was unlucky not to keep a clean sheet, a deflection the only one to find its way in. Fin’s work rate in midfield was tremendous all game and POW was Kieran for a very composed central defence role – Kieran is really becoming a great central defender, with his ability to read the play, intercept and dribble out of defence and make a good pass to a team mate.

Great game this week everyone against a very good Hazelbrook team.
