Match Report U8.Eels – 11 June, 2005

A huge effort by every player to record our first win of the season.

We had many attacks on goal but it wasn’t until late in the second half when the decider came. Jayden Carter let fly with a long range powerful shot that hit the net despite the goalie getting his hands to it.

POTW was a shared award as both James Jackson and Josh Badry were exceptional.
It was great to watch the team display lots of discipline in playing their positions, and this contributed to the end result.

Borrowed player Jarrod Biczo was always a danger up front and his direct runs on goal probably gave the rest of our attackers confidence to do the same.

A great game by all the boys and girls in the team!
