Match Report

A narrow loss for our first game which was well contested by both sides. An early goal to Issac Baker saw us lead 1-0. If not for some great goal keeping by Aidan Monaco the score may have been less in our favour but was only 2-1 by half time. The second half saw a goal by Thomas Chung to equalise and again our second half goalie Bryce Wye did a great job keeping the score to 3-2 saving numerous shots at goal. Hunter Turl and Luke Springett had their usual high work rated game as did Luke Doughty who also displayed his courage once again after a heavy tackle. New recruit Noah Clarkeburn was in the thick of the action and pulled off a super header. I was told after the game Springwood did not lose last year so you boys did extremely well. Lets get ’em next round.
