Match Report

Another convincing win sees our team remain undefeated, and we now have a 6 points gap on our nearest rivals.

Warradale turned up the play, however, as their forwards took advantage of some loose ball to score the first goal. This was the first time this year that our side has been behind,   but the response was just as impressive with Alec scoring a couple of minutes later to level at 1 all.

Once we slotted the second, we found our usual rhythm. A feature of this game was the passing, which just keeps getting better each week. Man of the Match Sonny was in control of the midfield, giving the opposition no time on the ball. Alec with another hatrick now holds a phenominal tally of 29 for the season. Our backs were solid all day and combined beautifully with the midfield to move the ball quickly. Fraser made an impact every time he got the ball and was rewarded with a lovely long range goal which sailed over the keeper’s head. Daniel Neale, who is making a habit of scoring from long range, also got one from outside the area. Doolsy was his energetic self and was great in defence and attack, linking brilliantly with the wingers and forwards. Good to see Nick S back in scoring form with 2 well taken goals. Again, great performances from everyone. Finbarr showed terrific touch all game, and Molly as usual chased down everything. Harry was again there to cause problems for the opposition with his footwork and passing, plus a great goal.
