Match Report |
Several early missed offside decisions by the Ref that led to goals, left us reeling and shocked. To be fair though, she didn’t have any people running the lines, and we were probably abit foolish to keep relying on the offside trap.
For the remainder of the match we tried hard, Connor Stanners, Ben Cross and Aiden Morgan all trying their best to bring us back into the game. Aiden produced his best football of the season, some great heading challenges and strong tackles. One of our few chances fell to Tristan Watson who chased a bouncing ball into the penalty area and bravely headed it after beating the advancing keeper. Sadly the ball missed the goal by mere inches. POTW was awarded to the boy seemingly made of steel, Brandan Dejonge. He required early treatment on a nasty graze but continued to play an exceptional game.
Warradale scored several perfectly good goals, so although disappointed with the early decisions against us, we can’t complain about the overall result. We’re a good team and can still challenge for our goal to be in the Top Four at season’s end.d can still challenge for our goal to be in the Top Four at season’s end. |
