Match Report U11.7 – 3 September, 2005 **Photo**

Congratulations to the 11.7 team who on Saturday 3 September 2005 won their grand final against a very strong Band Club in extra time.

Brianna scored the first goal of the game late in the first half with Band Club evening up the score early in the second half. In a nail biting finish the defence of Zakki, Nathan, Luke, Robin and Zasch (goalkeeper) worked tirelessly holding out the attack. They were supported by the mid field Morgan, Ryan, Tristan, Reece and Jayden who demonstrated excellent versatility attacking and defending.

Ben and Jarrah on the wings showed just how fast they are! The girls up the front, Brianna and Chelsey used their speed and ball skills to impress. Ryan, in overtime, scored the winning goal in a magnificent run the length of the field. It was a great team effort and every player gave it his or her all.

Special thanks to the many parents, relatives and friends who supported us on the day, it was a great atmosphere and there was some pretty fancy dancing on the sidelines!

We finished off a great season and a great day with a team barbeque. It was a pleasure coaching the team and I am very proud of the effort and sportsmanship they demonstrated all season.
