A tough first match where we defended for long periods of the match. Liam Holmes, Brandon DeJonge, Timothy Kahnia and MOTM Kali Ferris-Smith defended bravely against the constant RSL attack and threw themselves at everything. Two well taken goals from our counter attacks, Phillip Talbot enjoying the space of the full size field, sprinting down the wing before crossing to Chris Edwards who remained remarkably calm to slot two similar goals home. A tough but enjoyable start to the season. |
