| Match Report | A match that we totally dominated and kept the ball in the opposition half of the field. We always looked confident with the ball, defender Kali Ferris-Smith managing to sneak into the penalty box and score a couple of well taken goals. He shared POTW with fellow defender Daniel Neale who just seemed to love running at the opposition with the ball at his feet, showing off his dribbling skills. Centre Forward Isaac Morris was lively as always, giving Phillip Talbot plenty of options on well worked corner kicks. The Henry Lawson defence never knew what to expect. In the second half, Natasha Stork and Liam Holmes took over the striking roles. Nat was unlucky when she controlled a ball on her chest in the crowded penalty area, only to see her powerful shot go inches over the crossbar. Liam had several shots that brought off good saves from the goalkeeper. It was a comfortable victory, the children producing the form and showing the skills they all know they're capable of. |
