Match Report |
A catch-up game for opposition Bligh Park meant this added fixture was a Sunday match. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the boys played some delightful football to match the weather. As usual they moved the ball around with incredible precision, and totally overpowered Bligh Park. Birthday boy Jack Higgins opened the scoring with a thunderous shot that cannoned in off the underside of the bar. Absolutely unstoppable! Harry Burns played half a game as GK, then scored a hatrick to show what a complete all round player he is. Billy Moar and Ben Hurley both got on the score sheet as we found the net six times! Aiden Monaco played a great game; every week his passes are 100% accurate as he always concentrates on finding a Blue shirt. Centre Back pairing, the two Angus’s, Langworthy and Callinan, were rock solid as they totally shut out the opposition forwards. It was a great Win that keeps us within touching distance of the Top Four. |
