Match Report

A welcome return to the Team for Star D’arcy Salmon, however, we let this one slip away.

In the early stages of the game, we looked equal or better than Richmond, but a lucky goal and our confidence seemed to disappear.

We replied with a well worked goal finished perfectly by Jack Higgins, but the opposition kept the ball in our half.

Huge defensive efforts by Hunter Turl, Gus Langworthy and Luke Doughty always kept us in with a slight chance of a comeback. There was alot of tiredness out on the paddock though, many boys had School Sports Carnival the previous day, followed by Football Training, alot to ask from ten year old boys.

Highlights included Will Cooke and Billy Moar both showing skills playing up front with the forwards.

Luke Doughty won a shared POTW with Jack Higgins, his speed is absolutely unbelievable!
