Match Report

Decimated by injury we travelled to St Marys knowing we would be in for a tough match. Nine players deemed fit plus a couple, particularly Intensity, that really should have been watching rather than playing.

Playing with the buzz of the overhead electricity powerlines ringing in our ears, the first half was a battle with a few chances for both sides. St Marys took the lead right on the stroke of half time.

We battled away in the second half and came close to equalising on a few occasions. The more we pushed on for a goal though, the more exposed we left ourselves at the back. This was eventually capitalised on by a break away goal for St Marys. Another one followed and we felt the taste of defeat for the first time this season.

Nothing funny happened, so a straight out match report this week then! I might have to start making stuff up
