Match Report 12.5 – 19 June, 2004

Put off by the windy conditions, the game resulted in a nil all draw.

Blue Mountains were strong in attack attempting 10 shots at goal and defended extremly well with James saving many attempts by Colo.

Michael, Brenton, Mitchell C, Aden, Mitchell H, Cory and Cory all had shots at goal and ran hard in attack keeping the pressure on a fast running Colo side. The crowd were bought to their feet many times by Cory bringing the ball through a maze of Colo players and pushing it forward to Brenton and Alex to finish.

Colo had it’s chances and only great defence from Nat, Ben and Mitchell C saved goal scoring chances. On hand to clean up and change defence into attack were Mitchel H, Aden, Stevie and Ferret.

Coach Micheal, was pleased that the boys had fun but expects them to talk to one another more and make the passes and shots at goal count in the next game.
