2007 Finals Series

Each year the Clubs of the Nepean District Soccer Football Association vote on the format for the competition. The 2007 format is as follows.

Teams that finish on top of the table are the "Competition Winners" and not "minor premiers".

Top 4 semi finals will be a straight knockout, 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 with winners to the final, losers eliminated.

Junior Teams – Under 9s to Under 15s

  • Normal competition to determine the "Competition Winners" for each age group division.
  • Top 4 to play off to determine "Top Four Winners"
  • Teams finishing 5 and 6 play off to determine "Pennant Winners". For the teams finishing 7 and 8 the season will be over.

Senior Teams

  • Normal competition to determine the "Competition Winners" for each age group division.
  • Top 4 to play off to determine "Top Four Winners"
  • No bottom 4 play offs, end of season.

Semi Finals – 19 August
Game 1 – 1 v 4
Game 2 – 2 v 3

Grand Final – 26 August
Winner Game 1 v Winner Game 2

Senior Teams Bottom four format

No Bottom four play offs.

Junior Teams Top four format
Under 9s to Under 15s

Semi Finals – 18 August
Game 1 – 1 v 4
Game 2 – 2 v 3

Grand Final – 25 August
Winner Game 1 v Winner Game 2

Junior Teams Bottom four format
Under 9s to Under 15s

Pennant Final – 18 August
5 v 6

Teams that finish 7th and 8th on the table, end of season.
