Scoring in the first 5 min from a quality cross saw Dowdy open his account after returning from an injury lay off. That was one of the only highlights of the game which saw a very uncharacteristic poor performance by the lads. From the moment of our early goal, the lads took the foot off the gas and looked unmotivated for the rest of the game against a well-drilled NFA squad. Kali banged the crossbar from a corner later on in the game but we didn’t do enough to deserve any points. The lads will have to learn the importance of consistency in Div 1. |
