Second game of the weekend and a full team once again. Alex Cranbrook and Aiden had a half each in goal and both did really well; clean sheets, some super saves and great distribution.

While on the pitch in the first half Aiden bagged a couple of goals, including a header at the back stick that just snuck in. Finn put one away following some good build up play.

At half time the team was asked to focus on keeping a clean sheet, make that your objective. It was great to see this ask put into action with some real desperate defending at times – just as important as scoring goals at the other end. More goals did come our way on the back of some good passing and movement which was really encouraging so early in the season.

Dom hit the bar with one and only a minute later belted one home. Alex Mills scored a cracker into the top corner, Ash missed one on the end of some great passing from the back but shortly after did get the goal his unselfish passing and crossing deserved (as well as exciting the crowd with a trick to get away from his defender)!

PoW to Aiden for great involvement in the number 10 role and two good goals as well as some excellent saves, clean sheet and good distribution in the second half.
