Match Report Prem Res – 21 August, 2005

On Sunday, 21st August, Blue Mountains Prem Reserves lined up against Blaxland in the Local Derby of the knockout semi-finals, which was played at Inalls Lane.

Blue Mountains struck first blood through good goal by striker, Daniel. The 2nd half started as badly as the 1st half finished, after a short time, Blaxland scored a goal through a free-kick, “Emu” from Blaxland had 2 tries to score and got a goal in the 2nd try. Score 1-1

After a game, that at times was spiteful, and with the boys in Blue, trying at times, Brian shot a header but it was not to be.

The game finished at Full-time with the score at 1-1.

Because it is the Semis, they had to play an extra 10 minutes each way, “Golden Point” rule was enforce as indicated by the referee. After 2min 30 sec. Daniel put in his 2nd goal and the Blues go in against Rovers on Sunday 28th August.
