Match Report | ON THE MARK Sunday’s weather was just the right temperature to cool andy tempers that might have flared, the game was played in an aggressive fashion, but not to the point where red cards were issued. Bluey supporters did not have to wait too lon before they had something to cheer about, as Mark Semeniuk scored the First goal of the game. As the game went on it started to get a bit scrappy by both sides, then Mark decided to put some light into the game and scored his Second Goal of the game. This lifted the game to a new height and although St Marys Band Club fought back to try and demoralise the Blueys, all they succeded in doing was to lift them up. Bandys’ had their chances but did not capitalise on them, as the Mountain Men defended brilliantly. Not that far off from full-time, the Blueys’ thought that they deserved to get another goal, which they did, through Mark Semeniuk. Marks hat-trick, was well-deserved, he sat out last year through injury and is now back, and willing to do his bit. Well-done Mark and the Boys, both in Premier Reserve and Firsts. |
