Match Report

Dark n stormy skies were replaced by Hurricane Katrina’s twin sister for the clash with Springwood at The Sack.

First half and the Blueys had the lions share of possession, and the leopards, tigers & hyenas share also. A breakthrough finally as Grantoibrahimovic rocketed one in from 85 yards 🙂 into the teeth of the wind, down its throat & into top corner 1-0.

2nd half and the cyclonic conditions got the best of us as we conceded a dubious pen & a counterattack goal to go down 2-1.

Stats – Blueys: 116 shots; 96 on target, Woodies: 3 shots; 1 on target :-).

Still, great belief in the team our heads didn’t drop tried till the end and I’m sure we can finish off this great season playing some good football !
