Under, you guessed it, dark n stormy skies, today marked the first playing of the "Dave Rogers memorial soft scouser brittle boned endone addict trophy."

St Clair were the visitors so Nepean Hospital was on standby for more casualties. The game itself was a even, tense affair with both sides having chances. I must say, at this point, that both keepers were in simply scintillating form 🙂 repelling all efforts to score. Finally the deadlock was broken by Jules who first time buried one in the top corner to get off the nudie run (THANK GOD FOR THAT).

Second half was again even but Blueys were starting to get tired and had more players going down than soldiers at The Little Big Horn. St Clair equalized after a sustained amount of pressure and several GBH cautions; Maynardhinho was again in the thick of the action and defended our honour manfully.

We held firm and got a 1-1 draw to stop the losing run; a great performance under the trying circumstances.

Honourable mention to Grantahimovic who TRIED a bycycle kick only missed it by 10 feet (soooo close) apparantly there is photographic evidence . Also to Phil for reffing the game.
