Match Report U12.4 (28-05-2011)

Match Report	A beautiful sunny morning in the mountains brought with it another satisfying effort from our under 12/4s. St Clair were very competitive for much of the first half, however once we got into stride, the goals came again. The performance was marked by solid passing and some nice through balls, with our forwards and halves judging the offside to perfection. Our possession play even drew praise from the losing manager, and as one of our parents said ‘soccer was the winner’. Another hatrick from Alec ‘goal hungry’ Chapman added to Daniel Neale’s first hatrick of the year, who also got man of the match honours. The tally was added to with 3 wonderfully taken goals by Finabarr Curtis-Rock, a fantastic long range effort over the keeper, Harry Youngman’s thundering kick into the back of the net and Daniel ‘Doolsy’ with a stinging left footer into the corner. Nicholas Giles again was tireless at the back with some timely last minute tackles. Again there were no poor performances as everyone worked together to produce another big result for the team.
