Tough first game proper for the Wolves. Having not trained or played together for two weeks due to the rain, we met a seasoned team in Wentworth Falls.

A great willingness to embrace the encounter from all players and we were great at maintaining our focus for this game on positioning. Great work Lachie and Layla who both defended fearlessly in goals in the face of intense pressure. Some really good individual efforts by all the players, with some skills we have worked on at training coming to the fore.

Alex won Player of the Week with his enormous commitment right until the final whistle.
